Zumba Fitness tops UK gaming charts
The keep-fit game has topped the charts for eight weeks in a row.

Zumba Fitness has notched up its eighth consecutive week at the top of the UK all formats gaming charts.

Official figures from GfK Chart-Track show the Sony PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii and Microsoft Xbox 360 title was the country's bestselling game in the week ending August 6th 2011.

In January, US publisher Majesco announced Zumba Fitness had become one of its fastest selling releases after racing to 500,000 units in less than two months on the market across the pond.

Racing title Dirt 3 rose from sixth to second place in the table last week, while Disney Interactive's movie tie-in Cars 2 dropped one position to third.

Rounding out the top five were Just Dance 2: Extra Songs and Lego Pirates of the Caribbean, both of which were non-movers.

Among the re-entries in the top 20 were Portal 2, which took the number 12 spot, as well as Duke Nukem Forever, Just Dance 2 and Sniper: Ghost Warrior in 16th, 17th and 18th places respectively.
