Samsung has announced plans to launch its innovative Samsung Galaxy Beam smartphone and projector in the UK in July 2012, after unveiling the new device at the Mobile World Congress (MWC).
Reports from UnlockedMobile claim the device will cost roughly £385 to purchase and come with a variety of customisable options.
The phone is designed to allow its users to share their content more easily, meaning that videos, pictures and other digital media can be projected directly on to any flat service by using its projector option.
Simon Stanford, from Samsung's Telecommunications & Networks Division in the UK and Ireland, said: "With the Galaxy Beam, people can share content from their smartphone with people around them, using it like a pocket projector to create shared experiences."
He added that the device could also be useful for businesspeople wishing to carry out a spontaneous presentation.
The Samsung Galaxy S II was given the accolade of Best Smartphone at MWC by GSMA, which praised its speed and processing power.
