Plusnet launches fibre broadband offer
A new half-price fibre broadband promotion has been launched by Plusnet.

Plusnet has announced the launch of a new half-price promotion on its fibre optic broadband and home phone calls services.

Customers who sign up for Plusnet Value Fibre Broadband in a bundle with Talk Evenings and Weekends by February 27th 2012 will only have to pay £8.24 per month for the first three months of the contract.

When the offer period has passed, the broadband and landline package will revert to its regular price of £16.49 per month, while monthly line rental of £9.49 is also payable.

The super-fast broadband service offers download speeds of up to 40Mbps, plus a 40GB monthly usage allowance - enough to send and receive 4,000 emails, download 4,000 music tracks, watch 20 hours of YouTube video, stream 15 hours of high-definition iPlayer content and play more than 60 hours of games online.

A wireless router is included as standard, while customers can also choose to sign up for the Plusnet Protect internet security service for £2 per month.
