A red-coloured version of Sony's PlayStation 3 (PS3) is set to hit the market in the UK later this month.
The games console's new colour variant will be available from April 27th 2012, according to online retail giant Amazon, with the product set to include a 320GB hard drive.
Among the other features of the slim-line scarlet red PS3 are two USB ports, HDMI output for 1080p resolution, membership of the PlayStation Network and built-in Wi-Fi.
By signing up for a Netflix subscription, owners can also use the console to stream movies and TV programmes at no additional cost.
"Simply put, get everything you want in a slim, sleek, scarlet red package," Amazon commented.
However, Sony has no plans to release the blue PS3 in the UK any time soon, meaning the colour variant is set to remain a Japanese exclusive.
The news comes shortly after Kotaku claimed the next-generation PlayStation console will be called the Orbis and will be released ahead of Christmas 2013.
