With the BT.com/6mfree deal you get BT Broadband Option 1, which delivers home broadband as fast as your BT phone line can support. Each month you’ll be allowed to download up to 10GB of webpages, music and movies. This monthly usage allowance is lower than some rival packages, but it should be plenty for a whole month’s emailing, shopping and social networking.
If you ever need to go over the 10GB usage limit BT will only charge you £5 for each additional 5GB of data that you use. However, if you want to be sure to stick within your limits there’s a great free usage meter that you can access via your MyBT account to keep tabs on exactly how much you’ve downloaded.

Inclusive off-peak calls
Rounding off the BT.com/6mfree deal is an inclusive calls plan. With this you can make off-peak calls to UK landline numbers beginning with 01, 02 and 03 (except Channel Islands) for up to an hour at a time. BT defines off-peak as weekday evening from 7pm – 7am, and all day at the weekends.
